We want to keep you healthy and safe as you navigate new clinical environments, as well as make the transition from PSP to medical school easier. To this end, please begin the immunization process early.
Pathway Scholars are required to obtain and maintain a series of expanded immunizations. Until proof of immunizations has been processed, the Campus Health Service vaccination Compliance Hold is placed on your UAccess account and this hold prevents course registration/enrollment. New students occasionally experience a delay in processing by the Campus Health office due to the volume of new students starting at the University of Arizona in the summer months. If you have any questions you are encouraged to contact the Campus Health Service Office by calling 520-621-4068. Please identify yourself as a Phoenix Graduate student.
Mandatory Immunizations
Part One: Visit your primary care physician to start and complete the comprehensive health screening requirements, required for all students. The form linked here is just a starting point; you may use other records provided by your physician or previously collected. Please note that especially the TB and MMR series can take some time; please start as soon as possible to avoid enrollment delays.
NOTE: Flu shots are not typically available until the fall. Students are permitted to start without this requirement with the understanding that they should seek out this vaccine once available.
- Part Two: Once your NetID has been created (see Apply to the Graduate College and Student Account tabs), return to the Campus Health website and log into Patient Link to review your compliance. If you see that your paperwork has not been processed within five business days, please let us know. Once you see that your records have been processed and you have met "compliance," print/save a copy of the Immunizations report that has been created on your behalf. This document is what you will be required to upload to your Credentialing Folder on Box. Please see the Credentialing section for more information.
